Hate Selling? Let’s Make Selling Fun

Have you ever noticed that most people hate selling? Ironically, we all sell from the time we are small children. Persuasion is one of the keys to survival. We may not sell a product or service, but we do sell ideas or our preferences for a movie or where to go for dinner.

Nevertheless, when we think about selling and marketing, we usually think about the negative experiences we’ve had where people pressure us to buy or manipulate our emotions or use techniques to control us. For the majority of us, selling using techniques like these doesn’t sound like fun. In fact, when we use them, we feel yucky, maybe even disgusted with ourselves.

Learn to sell in a way you will feel good about and have fun doing

If you would like to learn how to sell and feel good about yourself while doing it, this is the site for you. It’s not for everyone, however. If you enjoy the challenge of controlling, pressuring, or manipulating people to get your way, if sales to you means “I win, you lose,” then there are many sales and marketing sites teaching hard sell sales that are better suited to your preferred style.

I come from a strong, lifelong commitment to providing service. There are few things as much fun for me as making a connection person-to-person with my prospect. I find selling fun because I like getting to know and understand their concerns and desired change. Likewise, when I have a product or service that actually solves their problem or delivers what they are looking for, it’s an immensely rewarding experience – as well as a profitable one.

This style of selling is heart centered and soft sell. It puts the customers first. But don’t get confused by the words soft sell, it’s only when you help customers buy that they can enjoy the benefits you sell. This approach makes selling fun, fulfilling and mutually rewarding.
