Comment on Being in the Goal Achieved Makes It Real by John Aberle

By John Aberle |

Thank you, Judith, for such a wonderfully supportive comment. I really appreciate the insights you and Jim provide, especially in the weekly trainings for the Soft Sell Marketers Association, http://tinyurl.com/ab7cbn. I have bad memories of conferences I paid for only to find I invested my time as well as money to attend a gigantic sales pitch by multiple people. The irritating thing was that I learned nothing new. One of the leading sales trainers in the last three decades of the 20th Century would do a seminar with nothing new that I could tell having read his book – and having heard him before. I appreciate your training sessions where you give us the steps to start applying the material covered in the training. That works for negative images too which is why being conscious of our thoughts is so important. Judith & Jim were right that coming from the awareness of having achieved the goal is vastly different from moving toward it. My shift in awareness came when I realized that I often see myself “there” as opposed to looking out of my eyes surrounded by what I want to achieve. Do you too, when you think of a goal, a dream, see it “out there”?

Try this yourself. Put yourself in the consciousness of the goal attained. What does achieving your goal look like, feel like, sound like?
