As a small business owner or senior manager, you have a tremendous variety of responsibilities. One of the issues many of your fellow small business owners suffer from is feeling that they have to know everything. Interestingly, nobody knows everything, especially in today’s fast moving world. Major corporation executives have the advantage on you. Nobody expects them to know everything. However, they do need to know how to manage and to get the right answers. That’s why the main role of Aberle Enterprises and site is to lead you to the necessary approach for building profits through strong relationships.
This means strong relationships with customers. After you have built strong relationships with them, you are in position to help customers buy, again and again. It means strong relationships with your employees who feel more appreciated, more empowered, and more rewarded. And, it means learning how to make a profit by getting more control over your small business’ finances and by managing for a planned profit. Strong relationships lead to repeat customers, happier employees and a more profitable business. It also means you will regain your love for your work at the same time you find peace of mind and more time to enjoy a great lifestyle instead of just living.
The following chart shows the relationship of Aberle Enterprises’ four main blogs, though the fourth one hasn’t been published yet:
Basically, all small business divide out into four major management areas:
- Business financial systems
- Sales and marketing systems
- Organizational systems
- Operational systems
You no doubt already have the expertise in your primary business, whether in manufacturing, construction, retail, restaurant, services, wholesale distribution or some other area. This category of business we call operations. Aberle Enterprises lack the expertise to tell you how to cook a better prime rib or do a better job paving. So we expect to avoid telling you how to do those things better. The other three areas, i.e. business financial systems, sales and marketing systems, and organizational systems are similar enough across industries that Aberle Enterprises will provide you tips, techniques and resources.
Does building profits through strong relationships really work? Definitely. In fact, it works better than the traditional way of trying to push customers into buying, of expecting employees to do something just because you ordered them to, and to hoping that if you just work harder the profits will come back. Look at yourself. How do you feel when a store ignores you? Now how do you feel when somebody recognizes you and makes you feel they’re glad you’re back? Aberle Enterprises’ goal is for you to regain your passion for your work and to find the time and the peace of mind to enjoy a lifestyle as well as your business.

John, you are soooo right. What so many businesses today are missing is the fact that consumers have choices like never before. If we don’t like our brick and mortar options we can go online. Don’t like “that” online retailer – we have choices. If you doubt me just Google anything and see what comes up. I still get amazed at the choices I have.
Thanks for a thoughtful post!
I agree, Heidi. This is why so many people struggle to make money online because they are doing the same thing everyone else has done, just trying to be the cheapest. Why should I bother with your online store when I can go to known major discounters whom I already trust. What do you offer if not a relationship?
